Terms of Service

1. The Service

Lagano is a language-learning service provided by Egean Software d.o.o. (Društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću EGEAN SOFTWARE), Bulevar Crnogorskih serdara 5/6, lamela F, 81000 Podgorica, Montenegro (Crna Gora); tax ID (PIB) 03172465. It helps you learn vocabulary with pictures, pronunciation, example sentences, lessons and quizzes. We continuously develop Lagano, so features, content and supported languages may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Lagano. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

You can create an account with your email address or through Apple, Google or, where offered, Facebook. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Price

Lagano is currently free to use and contains no advertising. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will clearly show the price and terms before you buy, and purchases will be handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its servers;
• copy, scrape or redistribute the learning content in bulk;
• reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or submit information that is not yours.

6. Learning content

Lagano's words, translations, sentences, pictures and audio are created with the help of AI tools and reviewed by our editors. We work hard to keep them accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every translation or example is error-free. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.

7. Intellectual property

The Lagano name, logo, app, website and learning content belong to Egean Software or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own learning. You may not reuse our content without prior written permission.

8. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist on lagano.ai does not create a contract and does not guarantee access to any feature by a particular date.

9. Termination and account deletion

You can stop using Lagano and delete your account at any time (see lagano.ai/en/delete-account/). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Egean Software is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

11. Privacy

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email. If you continue to use Lagano after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
